Safety and support
If you need help now, please reach a person.
depthcoach is a tool for reflection. It isn’t therapy or a diagnosis, and it doesn’t replace a licensed professional.
It isn’t for crises. If you are thinking about harming yourself, or you are in danger, please contact one of the services below.

How depthcoach handles distress
Before the questions begin, we ask whether you are in crisis. If you are, we stop and show these helplines, and nothing is charged.
While you answer, if something you write suggests you may be at risk, a calm note with these helplines appears. It never stops you typing, and nothing is sent anywhere when it appears.
After you submit, a safety check reads your answers. If it finds signs of risk, your reading is paused, you are shown these helplines, and you are refunded in full.
Reflection can stir things up
If a question brings up more than you expected, it is fine to skip it, stop, or come back another day. Talking with someone you trust, or with a licensed professional, is always a good next step.
